| JOSEPH M. BACKER: Joseph M. Backer is a member of The Backer Law Firm, L.L.C. He received his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Mr. Backer is the Managing Partner of the Kansas City, Missouri office and is admitted to practice law in the trial, appellate, and Supreme Courts in Kansas and Missouri, in addition to the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Mr. Backer concentrates his practice in personal injury actions, commercial litigation, and pursuing creditors' rights in bankruptcy.
Mr. Backer's civil trial experience includes personal injury, premises liability, construction litigation, civil rights litigation, employment discrimination, bankruptcy and franchise litigation. He regularly speaks at seminars in the areas of personal injury and workers' compensation.
